AnimEigo Announces Time of Eve Blu-Ray Release
Yasuhiro Yoshiura's Time of Eve is coming to Blu-ray with official English subtitles, as announced by AnimEigo. The Blu-ray will include the theatrical version of Time of Eveas well as the original six-episode web series produced by Studio Rikka and DIRECTIONS, Inc. The specifications of the release are as follows:

Pale Cocoon (2005) and Aquatic Language (2002) were also animated by Studio Rikka and directed by Yoshiura. The Time of Eve original web anime streamed from August to September 2008, with episodes that were between 15 and 27 minutes long. The theatrical version was released in 2010. AnimEigo describes the plot:
Time of Eve is set during a time when humanoid robots are everywhere, and every home has one as a servant. Some people treat them with contempt, while others become obsessed. One day, two high school boys stumble across a mysterious café that offers a third option: talk to them, free of prejudice, or even full knowledge of who’s a robot and who’s human. Shocked and rattled by the experience, the boys find themselves learning more about the world and themselves than they ever could have imagined.
