Blue Lock Season 2 Reveals Preview Images for Episode 2

Blue Lock Season 2 revealed preview images for episode 2 on Friday. The episode will be released on Saturday, October 12. Studio 8bit is handling the animation production. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime with English subtitles. Check out the preview images below:

Last week, the guys at Blue Lock kicked off the season getting ready for the matchup against Japan’s U-20 team. Despite it being nothing more than a setup episode, this season of Blue Lock is looking to produce more adrenaline-fueled moments than the first season gave us. What does Ego have in store to surprise the U-20 team? The story is just getting started!

Blue Lock Season 2 Staff and Cast

Yuuji Haibara is working as the director and a CG director for Blue Lock Season 2. He drew the storyboard for episode 9 of Blue Lock season one and was a storyboard assistant for eight other episodes. Taku Kishimoto is reprising his role, handling the series composition and script. Blue Lock Manga

Blue Lock is an anime adaptation of the original manga series written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura which began publishing in 2018 under Weekly Shonen Magazine. The manga has over 40 million copies in circulation as of September 2024, making it one of the best-selling manga of all time.

The series currently has 30 volumes published, with 31 set to release on October 14, 2024. Kodansha USA is publishing the manga in English and currently has the first 27 volumes out.
