Can you think of a better superhero to reference anime and manga than Deadpool? Being the hero of the common man, he’s perfect for the role. And because of that, we live in a world where a Deadpool Samurai x Quintessential Quintuplets crossover is possible. While the brash hero had previously parodied Demon Slayer and Chainsaw Mannow Sanshirno Kasama's Deadpool Samurai took a page from Negi Haruba’s beloved rom-com!
Deadpool Samurai x Quintessential Quintuplets a Perfect Match
The latest chapter (20th) of the Deadpool Samurai manga features an illustration of five of the crude vigilantes posing like the cover of the first The Quintessential Quintuplets manga volume. Not only is the placement of the Deadpools a mirror image of the quintuplets, but they also wear their hair accessories. The Deadpool Samurai x Quintessential Quintuplets depiction also adds a touch of evil by substituting the flowers in the original with blood splatter.
Negi Haruba shared the comparison on his Twitter/X account.

The Quintessential Quintuplets
Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine serialized Negi Haruba’s The Quintessential Quintuplets from August 2017 to February 2020. The manga is available in English via Kodansha USA. The story centers around the Nanako sisters, five girls whose beauty matches the void in their heads. That’s to say it’s of monumental proportions. So to prevent his daughters from failing, The Quintuplet’s dad tasks the intelligent and capable Futaru Uesugi with tutoring the girls. But that’s a task easier said than done, as not only has he made enemies of one of them, but the others care little for his presence. But with his and his family’s future on the line, Futaro pushes on to ensure the girls all pass their coming exams.
The Quintessential Quintuplets received a successful TV anime adaptation. Productions animated the first season, while Bibury Animation Studios animated the second. Bibury Animation Studios also animated the follow-up movie. An OVA project by SHAFT was released last year and another one, covering the Honeymoon arc, recently premiered in Japanese cinemas.
