KFC Japan and Genshin Impact Mark Collaboration With FLOW’s Music Video
KFC Japan and Genshin Impact have recently teamed up for a collaboration campaign and revealed an animated music video featuring a young and dashing Colonel Sander, featuring music by Japanese band FLOW.
At the center of the campaign are the Genshin Impact’s twins, Lyney and Lynette. The collaboration begins on October 2 with limited-edition collaboration products available online and in-store. Players can also achieve special in-game items, including a “Wing of Delicacy” Wind Glider. This Glider was initially available in the first Genshin x KFC collaboration in China, MEGA MGC Coffee collaboration in South Korea, and the currently ongoing Dodo Pizza and McDonald’s collaborations.
Other special limited edition items will be limited to five stores namely Takadanobaba (Tokyo Metropolitan), Port Walk Minato (Aichi), Apia Sapporo (Hokkaido), Nankai Namba Station (Osaka), and Tenjin Southern Street (Fukuoka).
Earlier in August, a special Genshin collaboration with KFC China was also launched which featured Melusine toys exclusive to Chinese locations. Details about the Lyney and Lynette collaboration were announced back in July this year, in time for Genshin Impact’s 4.8 update .
Genshin Impact is currently on its 5.0 update. Players are currently exploring Natlan, the nation of Pyro in Teyvat. Newly added characters are Mualani, Kinich, and Kachina. Players can now delve into the world of three distinct tribes in Natlan—Children of Echoes, Scions of the Canopy, and People of the Springs.
