Rascal Does Not Dream Light Novel Series Will End 10-Year Run Next Week With Volume 15
Rascal Does Not Dream light novel series, also known as Seishun Buta Yaro or AoButawill end after over 10 years with the release of Volume 15 on October 10. The final volume is titled Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dear Friendand you can see its cover below.
Hajime Kamoshida writes the Rascal Does Not Dream light novel series, which features illustrations by Keji Mizoguchi. ASCII Media Works have been publishing it under their Dengeki Bunko imprint since April 2014. Each of the volumes followed the same name style, and you can see the entire list of volumes below:

The first five volumes were adapted into a TV anime titled Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai. Studio CloverWorks was in charge of the animation, and the anime aired from October to December 2018. Three sequel movies followed. The first movie adapted volumes six and seven and was titled Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl. It premiered in June 2019.
The second movie was Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Outadapting the eight volume. It premiered in June 2023. The third and latest movie adapted the ninth volume and also shared the title with its novel counterpart, Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid. It premiered in December 2023. Studio CloverWorks animated all the movies as well.
Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus is the next TV anime project, which is set to premiere in 2025. There is also a manga adaptation by Tsugumi Nanamiya, which is also published by ASCII Media Works in their Listen to G's Comic magazine. Yen Press licensed both the manga and novel in English.
