Re:Zero Season 3 Reveals Episode 8 (Part 1 Finale) Preview
Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 3 has revealed the preview video and images for Episode 8, which will be the finale of the first part of the season. The episode’s title is “Someone I’ll Fall in Love With Someday” and it will premiere on Wednesday, November 20. You can watch the preview trailer below.
The episode’s synopsis is described:
Subaru, Anastasia, and the others gather in the meeting room of the city hall. Reinhard and his group also rush in, and the discussion begins about the four demands made by the Witch Cult. While they have some understanding of the Witch’s remains, the silver-haired maiden, and the artificial spirit, they are at a complete loss regarding the Book of Wisdom—whether it even exists is unclear, leaving everyone confused. At that moment, Otto raises his hand and reveals that he is the one who brought the Book of Wisdom into Priestella.

Studio WHITE FOX is back to animate Re:ZERO Season 3which premiered with a 90-minute special episode on October 2. It is directed by Masahiro Shinohara, with Haruka Sagawa as the character designer/chief animation director, Masahiro Yokotani on the series composition, and Kenichiro Suehiro on the music. We got to interview some of the Re:ZERO Season 3 staff, including the director and character designer, as well as Subaru’s Japanese voice actor Yusuke Kobayashi.
The new season is set to air over 2 parts:
- Attack Arc (8 episodes)
- Counterattack Arc (8 episodes, begins on February 5, 2025)
The Re:ZERO light novel by Tappei Nagatsuki first started on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in April 2012. The light novel version began in January 2014, featuring illustrations by Shin’ichiro Otsuka. Both are currently ongoing. The first season of the TV anime adaptation ran for 25 episodes from April to September 2016. Season 2 followed with 2 split cours, which aired through the Summer 2020 and Winter 2021 anime seasons.
