Re:Zero Season 3 Tops Fall 2024 Anime Ranking in Week 5 Following Capella’s Appearance
Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 3 has topped the Fall 2024 weekly ranking for the second time in Week 5, coming after another incredible episode. Capella Emerada Lugunica appeared and showed just how psychotic she is as the Sin Archbishop representing Lust, and Subaru’s latest suffering was particularly excruciating. It got the anime back on top again after its win in the first week, after all.
Re:ZERO had 11.46% of the votes this time, with a total of 10,193 people participating. BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War and Blue Box kept their ranks, while AND DA AND is the one that took Re:ZERO’s previous spot following its own impressive Week 4 win. You can see the new top 10 anime below.
Fall 2024 – Top 10 Anime of Week 5 | Re:ZERO Ranks First
Studio WHITE FOX is back to animate Re:ZERO Season 3which premiered with a 90-minute special episode on October 2. It is directed by Masahiro Shinohara, with Haruka Sagawa as the character designer/chief animation director, Masahiro Yokotani on the series composition, and Kenichiro Suehiro on the music. We got to interview some of the Re:ZERO Season 3 staff, including the director and character designer, as well as Subaru’s Japanese voice actor Yusuke Kobayashi.
The new season will air over 2 parts:
- Attack Arc (8 episodes)
- Counterattack Arc (8 episodes, begins on February 5, 2025)
The Re:ZERO light novel by Tappei Nagatsuki first started on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in April 2012. The light novel version began in January 2014, featuring illustrations by Shin’ichiro Otsuka. Both are currently ongoing. The first season of the TV anime adaptation ran for 25 episodes from April to September 2016. Season 2 followed with 2 split cours, which aired through the Summer 2020 and Winter 2021 anime seasons.
