The Beginning After the End Teases ‘Special Surprise’ for Crunchyroll Panel on October 19
The Beginning After The End (TBATE) webtoon is teasing a ‘special surprise’ for its Crunchyroll panel at the New York Comic Con on October 19. The panel will be hosted by the anime streaming giant and feature the original author of the webtoon, TurtleMe.
The The Beginning After The End (TBATE) is a web novel by TurtleMe, which features illustrations by Fuyuki23. There is also a webtoon adaptation by the same artist, which is available on Tapas (digital) and Yen Press (print). The series currently has 482 chapters (or 1465 episodes), while Yen Press has published 6 volumes in English so far. Tapas describes the story:
King Grey has unrivaled strength, wealth, and prestige in a world governed by martial ability. However, solitude lingers closely behind those with great power. Beneath the glamorous exterior of a powerful king lurks the shell of man, devoid of purpose and will.
Reincarnated into a new world filled with magic and monsters, the king has a second chance to relive his life. Correcting the mistakes of his past will not be his only challenge, however. Underneath the peace and prosperity of the new world is an undercurrent threatening to destroy everything he has worked for, questioning his role and reason for being born again.
From other recent webtoon announcements, Crunchyroll recently announced the Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint anime adaptation at this year’s Anime Expo in July.
