The Manila Japan Foundation Announces a Free Studio Ghibli Mini Film Festival
The Japan Foundation, Manila announced that it will be screening six Studio Ghibli films for free on November 16-17, at the Shangri-La Plaza, Red Carpet Cinema. Mini film festival “The Studio Ghibli Weekend” is a celebration of the 2024 Ramon Magsaysay Awardee, Hayao Miyazaki.
The screenings will include Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, Castle in the Sky, My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle, and Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea. Tickets will be available on The Japan Foundation, Manila website on November 4, 2024.
The mini film festival is presented by Studio Ghibli, The Japan Foundation, Manila, and the Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation, supported by Shangri-La Plaza and Fully Booked. The films are officially distributed in the Philippines by mm2 Entertainment.
