Tomb Raider Lara Croft Animated Series Reveals New Trailer Featuring “Gold Guns Girls” by Metric
Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft animated series has revealed a new trailer at the Netflix Geeked Week event, featuring the “Gold Guns Girls” song by METRIC. The series is a Legendary Television production, set for an October 10 release on Netflix.
They previously revealed the main visual, and the animated show is a sequel to the game trilogy. Lara’s iconic double pistols were also featured in the new trailer.
Lara Croft is the main protagonist of the video game franchise Tomb Raider. She is a smart and athletic British archaeologist who ventures into ancient tombs and hazardous ruins around the world. Created by a team including Toby Gard at Core Design, the character first appeared in the video game Tomb Raider in 1996.
Netflix describes the new series:
A new, Netflix original series featuring the iconic rise of Lara Croft is officially in development. Coming soon, only on Netflix.
Tomb Raider (known as Lara Croft: Tomb Raider from 2001 to 2008), is a media franchise that first began with an action-adventure video game series created by Core Design. The franchise is currently owned by CDE Entertainment.
The animated series was announced alongside the new Devil May Cry adaptation, which also revealed a new trailer at the same event.
