Wand and Sword Reveals Preview Images for Episode 12

The preview images for the Wistoria: Wand and Sword season finale (episode 12) were revealed on Thursday. The action-fantasy series is animated by studios Actas and Bandai Namco Pictures. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime with English subtitles. Check out the preview images below:

After defeating the Evil Grand Duke, Will and company head back to the academy ready to see what’s to come next. This week, we’ll be introduced to some new and exciting characters. As Will continues to prove everyone wrong along his journey to stand beside Elfaria, the next chapter of Wistoria: Wand and Sword begins in this week’s season finale!

Wistoria: Wand and Sword episode 12 trailer

Tatsuya Yoshihara (Black Clover) is directing Wistoria: Wand and Sword while also handling the script and series composition. Yuki Maeda (Black Clover) is the art director for the series while Sayaka Ono (Heavy Metal Dark Fantasy) is working as the character designer and animation director. Naomi Nakano (Solo Leveling) is the color designer for the series while Yuki Hayashi (Haikyu!, My Hero Academia) is composing the music alongside Luke Standrige and Asa Taylor.

Wistoria: Wand and Sword episode 11 will release on Sunday, September 22, 2024.

Wistoria: Wand and Sword Manga

The anime is based on the manga written by Fujino Omori and illustrated by Toshi Aoi. The series began publication in Best Shonen Magazine on December 9, 2020, and has since published 10 volumes, seven in English under Kodansha USA. The Wistoria: Wand and Sword manga has over 1.5 million copies in circulation as of September 2024. Omori is also the creator of the widely popular light novel series DanMachi (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon), whose anime will enter its fifth season this fall.
